IN-PERSON LESSONS:
HEALTH AND SAFETY PRECAUTIONS

The safety and health of our students, staff, and our community are our first priority.  Here are steps we are implementing to ensure the health and safety of all.

General

  • All persons will maintain social distancing of at least 6 feet.

  • Plexiglass shields will be used where possible to help separate teachers and students during lessons

  • Students should stay home if sick, or if they have been exposed to others who are sick.

Arrival and Dismissal

  • Students will be allowed into the building only at their lesson start time.  Parents of young children are allowed to come into the lesson at the beginning and end of  lessons, but must  wait outside the building when the lesson is in progress.    Social distancing and masks will be required.

  • Students waiting for pickup are the only persons allowed in the Tonalta waiting area.  Social distancing will be enforced.

  • All persons will be required to wear masks when in the building.  Disposable masks will be available, if you do not have a mask.

  • Temperature readings will be taken at the front door.   Any person with a fever greater than 99.9 will not be allowed entry.

  • Students will be released to parents outside the building.

Facilities and Cleaning

  • Sanitation stations will be available at the front door and in the classrooms.  When entering or leaving rooms, students are required to use the provided sanitizers.

  • Disinfectant wipes will be available for use in every room.

  • Instruments, microphones, and surfaces will be wiped down in between each lesson.

  • Occupancy in  classrooms will be limited.
